Advocating for Live Scan Fingerprinting:

Fingerprints have stood as the pinnacle of personal identification since the 19th century, their uniqueness established at birth and impossible to alter. As such, they remain the indisputable cornerstone of identification for the foreseeable future. However, evolving health and safety standards, combined with advancements in electronic fingerprint technology (EFT), are swiftly relegating traditional ink and roll fingerprint cards to obsolescence.

Drawing from over three decades of expertise in fingerprint capture, we foresaw this transition and answered the call. We've embarked on exclusive statewide partnerships with one of only 13 Channelers nationwide, securing sole rights to transmit electronic fingerprints to crucial governmental entities. Further, we've invested in cutting-edge portable Live Scan fingerprint machines, enabling us to extend this vital service across the state. Presently, we're certified to engage in partnerships for the operation of our Live Scan Fingerprint Machines.

How It Operates:

The ideal candidate for this exciting venture must possess:

- An existing business situated in a strip mall, mall, business complex, or downtown locale.
- Adequate infrastructure within the business premises to accommodate customers, including space for a laptop and scanner.
- Sufficient parking availability.

Additionally, they must be prepared to:

- Process over 50 transactions monthly.
- Consent to an initial site inspection. Approval of the site is a prerequisite for further proceedings.
- Accept walk-ins and maintain operational hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with additional hours on Saturdays if feasible.
- Exhibit Bayou City Fingerprinting marketing materials.
- Handle electronic submissions for FDLE, FINRA, and FBI Background Check transactions.

Upon the approval of a partnership agreement, BioFingerprint Portal will furnish:

- A state-of-the-art Live Scan fingerprint machine:
- Hygienic: Instead of using ink pads that are challenging to clean, our Live Scan technicians place freshly washed fingers onto a sanitized glass screen.
- Efficient: Electronic sensors promptly detect smudged or unreadable print captures, eliminating rejected fingerprints. Electronic submission reduces processing time from weeks to mere hours.

- Personalized training on the most effective techniques for capturing and transmitting fingerprints electronically, delivered by former law enforcement officers boasting over 20 years of fingerprinting experience.

- Access to submit fingerprints to our FBI Channeler, providing an exclusive statewide advantage by enabling direct submission to:
- FBI: Custodians of the Automated Fingerprint Information System (AFIS), the primary consolidated database of fingerprints in the US, offering the most reliable data for background checks.
- FDLE: Since 2013, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) exclusively accepts authorized electronic submissions for Florida licenses.
- FINRA: Electronic submission of fingerprints to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), with results delivered to the broker-dealer through FINRA CRD.
